behind the camera…

Hey there-Welcome to my page! My name is Lauren Cassady and I am primarily a portrait and lifestyle photographer, with a history of sports photography. I am originally from Champaign, Illinois, but I go to school at the University of Louisville in Kentucky where I am studying Business Administration and Marketing. So during the academic year I am based in Kentucky and then during the summer I am based in Illinois. (However I do drive home to see my family as much as possible throughout the year!) My dream career is to get involved with real estate and to do photography on the side! I got into photography when I was in middle school, and what started as spontaneous backyard photoshoots with my sister became one of my favorite hobbies. My favorite thing about photography is having a creative outlet to express myself along with providing for my clients. When you book with me you can expect an energetic, low-pressure experience where you can let loose and have fun! The goal is to see your personality shining through the photos.
